Deodorant – coconut oil based

  • 3 TBSP coconut oil
  • 3 TBSP baking soda
  • 3 TBSP arrowroot powder
  • 15-20 drops of your favorite essential oil -I like tea tree oil or lavender oil or eucalyptus or lemon and/or myrrh
  • Optional add in: Pinch of Clove powder

Coconut oil needs to be “stir-able”.  Not completely hard, not melted.  Usually room temp works great … except if you don’t like a/c in the summer …

Stir together and put in a jar.

Most commercial deodorants contain parabens (known carcinogenic) and aluminum ( in anti-perspirants) which are connected to Alzheimers, among other concerns. If you want to save yourself those exposures try this recipe and smile.
